Events We Love This Week: November 5-12, 2025

In the city this week? Here are some fun events we’re keeping an eye on.

New York Comedy Festival - November 7-16

NYC has a plethora of comedy clubs that have helped churn out massive names in the comedy world.

The 21st annual New York Comedy Festival, featuring dozens of shows, will showcase up-and-coming comedians and seasoned names in the comedy world throughout mid-November.

Canstruction at Brookfield Place - Until November 10

There’s something inspiring about art made using everyday objects. And it’s even better when that art is for a good cause!

The beloved annual design competition challenges teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to build sculptures made entirely out of unopened cans of food. The large-scale sculptures are displayed in an exhibition open to the public and later donated to City Harvest to help feed those in need.

You’ll Have to Check It Out - NARI

Arguably, our favorite activity in the city is walking past restaurants, viewing their menus, and saving them to our list of “Wants” if they look tasty.

It’s a unique aspect of living in a food mecca like New York City.

Nari fits this bill. Ashley walked past it after work, and after seeing their lunch special (less than $30 for most options) gave it a save. 📍

Last week, we finally checked it out and it did NOT disappoint.

The staff.. friendly.

The food.. delicious

The portions.. ample

The price.. fair.

Can’t ask for much more from. Plus, it’s super close to the MoMA and Central Park!
