Pier 57 - Rooftop & Food Hall
Pier 57 in Chelsea is a recently renovated space featuring a beautiful rooftop park, a food hall offering delicious cuisine, and community spaces.
The rooftop park boasts views of Chelsea, Little Island, Lower Manhattan, including One World Trade Center, and even the Statue of Liberty in the distance.. for FREE!
One of the best parts of the park is that you can grab delicious food from one of the dozen or so food vendors in the accompanying Market 57 food hall!
Market 57 offers a diverse range of cuisines, from seafood to Japanese, and everything in between. You can snag craft beers at Hudson Hops, delicious coffee from Bird and Branch, or a wide variety of tasty food options.
The best thing to do is to take your food up to the rooftop park, enjoy the beautiful green space, and soak in the breathtaking views. Learn more about Pier 57 now. ⤵️
New York Know How: Don’t Congregate at the Bottom or Top of Stairs
Stairways and sidewalks are where New Yorkers commute, transport purchases, and get around the city.
So, instead of congregating at the bottom or top of stairs (especially in subway stations), move 10 feet so traffic can continue to flow in those areas.
You never know what may be coming up or down the stairs.. (see photo above 😜)
Central Park Picnic Spots
Having a picnic on a nice sunny day is one of our favorite things to do in Central Park!
There are numerous green spaces throughout Central Park, and almost any of them would make an excellent place for a picnic.
But we’ve got 5 spots that are a bit more beautiful than others..
Events We Love This Week: June 25 - July 2, 2025
In the city this week? Here are some fun events we’re keeping an eye on.
Harlem Meer Pool Reopens - June 27
After years of waiting for the renovations to be completed, the Gottesman Pool will open in the upper section of Central Park near Harlem on Friday.
Just in time to beat this nasty heat! ☀️
Bryant Park Movie Nights - Monday Evenings through August 11
Bring a blanket and a friend, and snag your spot on the lawn to watch a feature film on the big screen under the stars.
The lawn opens at 5:00 p.m.; films begin at 8:00 p.m.
And it can get PACKED, so get there early if you want a good spot!
You’ll Have to Check It Out - Don Antonio
If you're looking for some high-quality Neopolitan-style pizza in Hell's Kitchen, Don Antonio is the spot.
They also have tasty Italian beers, plenty of wine options, and pizza that'll make you think you're in Italy.
Know why..? 👇
The kitchen is led by Giorgia Caporuscio, an award-winning master pizzaiola with international acclaim, who moved to NYC from Italy at the age of 19 and eventually took over this spot from her father.
As one of the few women in the pizza world, Giorgia proudly carries on her family’s tradition of making exceptional pizza. She was also the youngest woman to ever win the “Classic” category at the Caputo Cup (basically, the Olympics of pizza held annually in Naples).
We’ve loved every single pizza, salad, and drink we’ve been lucky enough to consume here.
Oh, and they have Amaro flights! 🙌
Bye for now,
