NYC Pride March & PrideFest - Sunday, June 28

As one of the world’s largest and longest-running LGBTQ+ demonstrations, NYC’s Pride March is an iconic experience taking place this Sunday, June 28.

The march kicks off at noon at 26th Street and 5th Avenue, dispersing near 15th Street and 7th Avenue.

After it finishes? Head to PrideFest on 4th Avenue from Astor Place to 14th Street. From 11 am to 6 pm you'll find a street fair complete with world-class performers, local bites and shops, and more! 🏳️‍🌈

Stonewall National Monument’s 10th Anniversary - Now Through July 2

I LOVE history generally, but especially NYC history.

Until July 2, storefronts across the West Village will feature “vivid educational panels that trace the course of LGBTQ+ civil rights: life before Stonewall, the raid on the Stonewall Inn in June of 1969, and the civil rights movement fueled by the uprising”.

Think of it as a free walking tour to help you understand the deep and important history the West Village holds in LGBTQ+ civil rights.

The West Village is an iconic neighborhood no matter the time of year, but this nod to its deep history makes it a must-explore neighborhood right now!

You’ll Have to Check It Out - Vito’s Slices and Ices

We all love an old-school feel, and Vito’s Slices and Ices in Midtown nails it without being over the top.

Conveniently located near Hudson Yard, the Javits Center, and Penn Station, this slice (or pie) spot is a perfect quick stop for a delicious slice.

We had both a cheese and pepperoni slice (IMO the best benchmark for a pizza spot) and were pleasantly surprised.

Tasty crust, not too much sauce, and PERFECT pepperoni. Plus, they offer some Italian ice desserts, perfect for a hot summer day. ☀️

10 Tips for Using the Subway in NYC

Trying to figure out how to use the NYC subway can feel overwhelming, especially on your first couple of times in the city!
