Events We Love This Week: March 18-25, 2026
In the city this week? Here are some fun events we’re keeping an eye on.
The Power of Togetherness Unveiling - March 20 from 10am-2pm
In the creators’ words:
“Growing up with Sesame Street taught us how to think, be kind, stay curious, and care about the world around us. It made our childhood brighter, and bringing these beloved characters into the world through sculpture is truly a dream come true.”
See the four interactive sculptures at 590 Madison Avenue!
And this Friday, the official unveiling will include special appearances by Elmo and Cookie Monster, as well as family-friendly activities.
C4 Energy x Local Hoops Pop-Up - March 21 from 12-6pm
C4 Energy is taking over Local Hoops (34th Street in Midtown) to host a 1 day only event in NYC with a special appearance from the New York Knicks' Josh Hart! You can also enjoy:
Free, custom jersey for first 100 people
Free drinks
Giveaways and more
On Our TikTok: Central Park Lamp Posts
Just this morning, I helped give directions to a lady who could NOT figure out where she was in Central Park (or how to get out). If only she had watched this video. 😜
@bettertogetherhere All 1,600 lamps in Central Park serve as guide posts for getting around the sprawling oasis in Manhattan. Each lamp has a placard with 4 ... See more
You’ll Have to Check It Out - Kin Ramen
Few places capture the essence of their food’s culture better than Kin Ramen.
Stepping into this Midtown ramen spot feels a bit like stumbling into Tokyo’s Ramen Street.
What looks basic and humble from the outside turns out to be a well-crafted space that truly transports you.
From the wall & ceiling color (mostly black) to the unique 2-person tables set on Asahi drink crates (think milk crate), every piece of the restaurant has clearly been well thought out and created.
Oh, and the food?
DELICIOUS!
Don’t forget to check out the bathroom (seriously)..
NYC’s #1 Sidewalk Rule 🚶
The hustle and bustle of New York City can feel daunting at times. Especially when the sidewalks, subways, and streets are busy. Which happens a lot!
In this article, we’re gonna break down the #1 NYC sidewalk rule to never break.
And let’s be clear, this is the main reason New Yorkers are often viewed as mean or cranky.
Because imagine the car in front of you slamming on its brakes for NO reason during your morning commute..
Catch ya next week,
