5 Must-Visit NYC Museums
New York City is home to dozens and dozens of world-class museums. While you could spend weeks going to them all, we've compiled our list of the five best museums to check out when visiting or exploring NYC!
Each museum in this episode is a unique adventure covering various art styles, experiences, and locations.
If you only have time for one museum..? We would pick the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the Upper East Side.
Want a guided tour of the MET, so you hit all the best parts? That’s an option, too!
The World’s Busiest Trader Joe’s
Some people love the grocery store. Casually picking the best produce, searching for deals, and enjoying the wide-open aisles of food and beverages.
That’s NOT Trader Joe’s in NYC.
A visit to any TJ’s in NYC usually feels like this…
Now, I finally have the data to back up my disdain for Trader Joe’s on the Upper West Side.
The location on 72nd and Broadway was named the busiest TJ’s in the world… You’ve been warned! 😜
A Quick Laugh 😁

Events We Love This Week (January 29 - February 5, 2025)
In the city this week? Here are some fun events we’re keeping an eye on.
Broadway Week (2 for 1 Tickets)
Not much can compare to a Broadway show in the city. 🎭
Whether you’re unsure how you feel about live drama or are an avid theater-goer, Broadway Week is in full swing!
Most shows are available as part of the 2-for-1 promo.
Restaurant Week
Andddd it’s also Restaurant Week! Hundreds of the city’s restaurants participate by offering specially priced prix-fixe menus at either $30, $45, or $60.
Reservations fill up quickly, so find where you want to try and book it now!
Pro Tip: Be sure to verify the restaurant you want to try offers prix-fixe on the specific day you’re trying to go. Some spots only offer Restaurant Week pricing on weekdays, for example.
Top 101 Steak Restaurants in the World
We’re back with another list of top spots in the world and this week.. Steak! 🥩
NYC has eight spots in the top 101, including Cote landing at the #4 steak restaurant in the world.
NYC History - Grand Central Opening
112 years ago this week, on February 2, 1913, Grand Central Terminal opened to the public.
Despite not being finished, over 150,000 people visited the new bustling terminal on opening day.
The rest, as they say, is history.
This Week’s You’ll Have to Check It Out - Caffè Panna
We are fully aware that it’s the middle of the winter right now, but we’re still going to recommend you go to Caffè Panna.
This Italian-inspired coffee and ice cream spot offers unique daily flavors. And some of the best affogato we’ve ever had..
Be warned, they make limited runs of each option daily, and once it sells through, you can’t get it!
While we aren’t fans of waiting in line for damn near anything, this is worth it.
Check out Caffè Panna in Manhattan here & the Brooklyn location here.
Have a great week,
Ashley & Devin from Better Together Here 🍨
