+ Affogato worth traveling for & Woobles popping up in NYC

Oh hi,

A beloved British bakery is making its way to NYC, opening its first US location in November.

Bread Ahead, originally a tiny operation at the famous Borough Market in London, will serve its famous crème brûlée doughnut, along with other delicious doughnuts and pastries. See you in November! 😋

Events We Love This Week: September 2-9 2026

In the city this week? Here are some fun events we’re keeping an eye on.

West Side County Fair- September 6 from 1-6 pm

County Fairs are a long-standing tradition, apparently even in New York City!

This Sunday, head to Pier I (around 70th Street on the UWS) for live performances, rides, vendors, and plenty of end-of-summer vibes.

With plenty of free things to do, it’s a great activity for all ages.

The Woobles Pop-Up Shop - September 4-7

If you haven’t heard of or seen Woobles, think crochet for dummies beginners.

With football season about to smack us right in the sun-kissed face, it’s the perfect way to keep yourself busy during commercials.. instead of scrolling social media.

The pop-up will give away a free kit or charm bracelet to the first 300 visitors each day at 291 Grand Street. 🧶

Harry Styles Residency at MSG - Today Through October 31

The legendary pop star is starting a months-long residency at the world’s most famous arena.

If you can swing a weekday (vs weekend), tickets are usually a bit cheaper.

You’ll Have to Check It Out - Caffè Panna

If you aren’t aware, affogato is a life-changing dessert-meets-coffee extravaganza.

Let me repeat that.. Coffee + dessert!!!

While I shouldn’t need to say much more, know that Caffè Panna offers unique flavor combos, delicious, fresh ice cream, and is a perfect treat on a hot NYC day.

Be warned: they make limited runs of each option daily, and once they sell out, you can’t get it!

While we aren’t fans of waiting in line for damn near anything, this is worth it.

Check out Caffè Panna in Manhattan here & the Brooklyn location here.
